Privacy policy

This policy explains what information MyTuitionClass (“the app”, “we”; formerly TopScorerPlus Scheduler), operated by Adrian Wong, collects and how it's used. Questions: adrianwong.acksolutions@gmail.com.

Information we collect

• Staff accounts: name, email address, phone number (optional) and a securely hashed password.
• Client details entered by staff: names, parent/contact names, phone numbers, email addresses, notes, lesson rates and payment records.
• Bookings: appointment dates, times, locations and notes, including slots clients pick through booking links.
• Notification settings: Telegram chat ID, browser push subscription and email preferences for staff.
• Google Calendar (only if a staff member connects it): the Google account's email address, the list of calendar names so you can choose which count as busy, free/busy times, and (if you allow it) your event titles, times and locations so they can be shown and edited on your own scheduler calendar. Event details are fetched live when you open the calendar and are not stored; clients never see them, only whether a time is free. We store an access token so the app can keep working.

How we use it

• To show available booking slots, record bookings and prevent double-booking.
• To notify staff of bookings and changes, and to prepare or send messages to clients (e.g. WhatsApp reminders, fee statements).
• To add, update or remove bookings in the calendar, named after the centre, that the app creates in the staff member's Google account.
• To show the staff member's own Google events on their scheduler calendar, and to save changes they make to those events. The app only changes an event when the staff member edits or deletes it.

We don't sell personal information or use it for advertising.

Google user data

MyTuitionClass's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google data is used only to provide the calendar features described above, isn't transferred to others except as needed to run the app (our hosting provider), isn't used for advertising, and isn't read by humans except with your permission, for security, or where required by law.

Service providers

The app is hosted on Cloudflare (data stored in Cloudflare D1, Asia-Pacific region). Depending on the features used, messages may be delivered through Telegram, WhatsApp (Meta), email providers and web push services.

Retention and deletion

• Staff can disconnect a Google account at any time in Settings → Google Calendar; its stored token is deleted and access is revoked. You can also remove access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
• Clients can ask us to update or delete their details by contacting adrianwong.acksolutions@gmail.com.
• Data is kept while it's needed for scheduling and fee records, and deleted on request unless we must keep it by law.

Security

Data is sent over HTTPS, passwords are hashed, and booking links use long random codes that expire or can be revoked.
